Donkey Kong, aka Donkey Kong 94, is a 1994 release for the original Nintendo Game Boy, with major support for the Super Game Boy peripheral, then a new accessory.  This game takes the original arcade game and expands that concept exponentially, adding new mechanics, smoothing out the game play, and providing a lot of content for the money.  I hope you enjoy the video!

Enjoy this new series and I'd love to see more on the front page.  Articles are great, but a few more interactive posts are always welcome.  Nice work man!

Game Boy DK is a great game, and you did a nice job of reviewing it. Such a big library on that system full of goodies.

This isn't a good review, it is a VERY good review! Well done! Not only did you describe the gameplay, but you analyzed and pointed out the strenghts of the gameplay and made clear why this game works well.  Keep this great work up, it is nice to see in this day and age of some youtube dumbness that intelligence and eloquence are still alive.

@singlebanana: Thanks, man, I'm glad you liked it, and am considering doing more of this kind of thing in lieu of a written article,  in part because I already have this stuff scripted, and am working on these things anyway.

@Duke.Togo: Thanks for watching, glad you liked it. And yes, there are lots of quality GB games that have gone under the radar, so that's part of my goal in reviewing them all Smiley

@lendelin: Wow, thank you so much for the kind words! This is the kind of feedback that tells me I'm doing something right in terms of my approach. I enjoy more thoughtful, cerebral analyses like The Gaming Historian and Jeremy Parish, and it's this more studied style that I'm trying to model, with adding my own quirkiness and personality. I like silly stuff such as CGR and Game Sack as well, but there's already plenty of that out there. I really appreciate your feedback!
