Greetings everyone,

Its seems that some of you were unfamiliar with my last sound track selection. I've got a feeling I might be repeating that with this entry, I'm hoping not.

E.V.O.: The Search for Eden, one of my all time favorite games. Originally released in Japan during 1992 and later brought the US in 93'. Based heavily on its predecessor "46 Okunen Monogatari: The Shinka Ron", which was available in 1990 on the NEC PC-9801.

I've yet to run into another person who has actually played this game. Its so grossly underrated its annoying. This has to be one of the best action RPGs on the SNES...hell probably one of the better games on the console, period. While it didn't get a whole lot of praise back during its initial release. It seems folks these days have been giving it the credit it deserves. Sadly most of the praise isn't for its music, but thats not to say its doesn't have a memorable track or two. Like todays selection, which is simply titles "The Ocean".

One last thing before getting to the music. I've never ever owned this game in my life. Only rented it more times than I can count. If anyone has or comes across a copy of this for a reasonable price, let me know. Its something I've always wanted to own. Now...on with the music!!

Peace,

Greetings everyone,

Hopefully I'm not the only one this has happened to. You ever had a game or two you played a lot when you were younger but nowadays you can never seem to remember playing it? Wonder Boy in Monster World is one of those games, at least for me. My brother and I played this a ton back in the day. Should have picked it up again when I had the chance  . The Sky Castle was the final stage of the game and blessed with one of the best tracks. Not trying to make this a trend but its another cover. Its well done or I certainly wouldn't post it on here. Oh and the song was originally from Wonder Boy III. Enjoy.

Until tomorrow.

Greetings everyone,

For those of you that have, what do you remember about the first time you play Castlevania: Symphony of the Night? Other than the awesome exchange between Richter and Lord Dracula during the first part of the game. For me at least, its gotta be the very first song of the game "Prologue". I still remember when I heard that for the first time, Holy shit! Talk about a killer way to start one of if not the best Castlevania of all time. For those of you not fortunate enough to have played this classic yet. You can download the game off of PSN or XBL for fairly cheap. Now prepare yourselves for the awesomeness!

Greetings everyone,

*Yawn* Welp, its been kind of a slow day here today folks. Sittin around, playing some games and hanging with the family. Pretty uneventful, but what are ya gonna do. Maybe we could spice up the day with some up beat tunes. Lets see what we got here...hmm. Why not Mega Man, can't go wrong with that stuff. MM9 has had one of the best sounds track in the series as of late. Its kind of cold, so why not Magma Man. Definitely upbeat and should keep your spirits up and your toes tappin.  Some how I got a feeling you guys might be getting sick of Mega Man music. I promise there will be a break from it for a while. Any how, heres the track.

Hopefully you enjoyed the music, be sure to let me know what you think. Thats if for me though, gotta finished giving my son his peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich Cheesy .

Sonic and Knuckles, who doesn't love that game? If you don't...well then you might not want to waste your time with this entry. Not too much to really say about the game any way. Its damn good fun and you should play it. If you haven't well...theres something wrong with you :p . Crap! Gotta remember this is not a review *sigh*. Again another cover, but I know this guy and he is great.  He's offered some of his talents to another project of mine. So if you like this track, check out some of the guys other work. If not you'll see them on here soon enough. Enough of this...Lava Reef zone. Its bad ass, now crank it.

Thats all for today, until tomorrow.

Greetings folks,

Just because I am such a tool and obsessed with Mega Man music. Why not bring you another track from one of the best game series ever. This time the music is from the X series, in fact its from my favorite entries in the series. Mega Man X2, a game I almost missed out on during its original release. Like the original, X2 had little to no advertising behind it. Only becaused my friend found and rented it from a local video store. Did I know about its existance and boy am I greatful. Fantastic bosses, upgrades, music and gameplay...I could really go on and on about it. But this isn't a game review. Its about the music dammit!

Flame Stag or Flame Stagger, which ever version of the game you play. The music and play through of this level go hand in head, both a very fast paced and heavy. Its made even heavier as this remix is a metalized version. Which is always a huge positive in my book. Hopefully most of you will feel the same. Enjoy.

Be sure to leave comments and let me know what you think, until tomorrow.

Greetings Everyone,

Names Roehm21, Daniel if you would prefer. This is the first entry in this new blog, so why not give a little back story first. For the past few days I've been posting some awesome game music on my Facebook account. Come to find out none of my friends are really all that into game tunes. Being a tad  disappointed, I figured the best place to share my interests is with my fellow gamers. Which is what brought me here.

Now I'm not going to say that I'm some sort of video game expert. But I've been playing for over 18 years on an almost daily basis...not sure if thats a good thing or not :p . Hopefully y'all will enjoy this little blog, maybe I can include some important fact about that games or something. Nothing is finalized at this point. Enough of that, lets get one with the music.
