I'm going to keep this introduction short, as I have a tendency to talk a lot. I'm a 21 year old musician, producer and instructor and I'm very interested in collecting games from the second to the fifth generation. I like trading music stuff for games and have a music store with my dad, where we do a lot of video game trades. We're opening a new location and I'm very excited about incorporating a classic gaming element to the store. This blog is where I'll talk about exciting trades I get and fun stuff going on with the store and gaming get togethers there I will be organizing! I'm very excited about this website and getting my collection together and trading with all the awesome members here.

Oh welcome Tazzlyn. I'm not an awesome member here for anything trading, but I do have a violin hand crafted by Antonio Stradivari which I presume is from the 1880's with the original case and bow. Do you know how much it would be to get the four strings and a bridge? I want to know a fair price to get it restored and tuned. I can play the shit out of a violin. I love playing the violin and piano. I've even got a piano that I can presume is at least 100 years old (I have no way to tell exactly how old it is). I do have a passion for playing music, oh and I play video games too.

Welcome, Tazzlyn. This is a great website whether you're looking for a place to catalog your collection, meet some new friends and trade, or just show off new game acquisitions while on The Hunt. I'd advise hitting the forums and looking around a bit. You'll find lists of reputable online stores, testimonials from trading amongst our members, and even vendors you'll want to avoid.

@Razor Knuckles: Sorry for the late response. I didn't even know I got any comments here. If you have a Strad, it's worth millions of dollars, so you might want to hold onto it, or just sell it and be set for life. More than likely, it's a Stradivarius copy, since he pretty much designed the modern violin and most violins since are Strad copies. As for getting a new bridge and having it setup and restrung, a reasonable price for that is around $40, plus parts ($20 for strings, $5-$15 for bridge).

@bombatomba: Thanks Bomb. I'm excited to be more involved and will definitely be browsing around more in the forums and hope to meet some members of the community. It seems like everyone here is pretty nice, which is surprising, considering it's the internet. Anyway, I look forward to getting to know everything and everyone better. Thanks again.
