I received this custom painted PAL nintendo 64 from a user over at nintendoage, Zoki64, for $55. It is a beautiful paint job and now I'm motivated to go buy more PAL games.

This was a craigslist lot I offered $18 for. Silicon Valley is a rather pricey game and Mystical Ninja is certainly an expensive title so I think It was a decent deal. Puzzle League is new to my collection. Jet Force Gemini is a duplicate and so is Tetrisphere.

Bought this off of someone on nintendoage for $35 shipped. Neon Genesis Evangelion with manual and a region converter for a NA n64. This is one of the more expensive JAP exclusives, normally goes or $30-$40 cart only so I got a pretty good deal on this. And the converter was much needed because I've been using my gameshark which has not been working with much success.

Hydro Thunder for $12 plus shipping. This grey version is quite rarer than the already uncommon blue version. I don't think it's that high in value but it certainly is harder to find.

Went back to the arcade. Found the Ocarina of Time for $12 and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six [Black/] for $3. Ocarina of Time won't be added into any of my stats as it is not a japanese EXCLUSIVE. Though I thought it would be my only chance to find it at that price without shipping.

My girlfriend found an ad on criagslist with a couple games she really wanted like Gauntlet and Mario 64. So we decided to split it 20/30, I paid $20 for what is below. She paid 30 because she took mario 64, gauntlet, another copy of golden eye and a few other games. The rest of the games were in awful condition which is why I didn't take them. I already have the two games I took but there were 2 copies of golden eye and she has no use for madden 64. The 2 gray controllers are unusable as the joystick are far too loose. The purple one if pretty good. So it wasn't anything I really needed but oh well.

Bought F1 Racing Championship offline for $8 plus shipping. It is one of the four PAL exclusives and probably the rarest of the four, especially complete. The box is a bit smashed but i'll wet it and see if I can flatten it out. Pretty good deal on it I believe.

Finished Madden 2003. This game was a lot funner than the previous two. Receivers do a lot better of turning around and looking for the ball and there are many new catches. One thing on defense that was great is that when on defense you can now zoom out before the snap and get a better view of the field and see what the assignments are for all the defenders. While choosing a play you cannot look at the computer sift through it's plays like in 2001/2002. You could never tell which play the computer would select but you could easily see the formation. The fields and stadiums look a lot more real. Now instead of every field having green concrete they actually have grass. New player animations as well. Overall this game has improved a lot since 2001. One thing I've noticed about the games is that it's easy to stop the run, or maybe I just have a great defense. My defense has been ranked #1 in the NFL for rushing yards against all the three games so far.

Madden 2002 is now complete. Not a whole lot of noticeable changes happened between 2001 and 2002 besides coverage. Defensive backs actually do what they are supposed to now and cover the receiver, and swat the ball. I am not cheating, bumping up attributes or anything during this marathon EXCEPT during this season I had to turn holding off. EVERY penalty I got was holding, it was getting ridiculous. One interesting thing I noticed is during the season Donavon McNabb, Eagles Quarterback, had a CAREER ending achilles injury.I thought that was interesting because he went on to have a very successful career. Well I finished up 2001 last night. I ended up winning the super bowl. The game got much easier as I got adjusted to the game play. To sum things up, I think I'm pretty damn good at Madden.

Not much else to say about this game. If you're playing a more recent game, like 06-11ish, it's rather difficult to make the change until you get adjusted. One interesting thing, though Tom Brady was a rookie this year he is not in this game, nor in the 2002 game. I assume he will be in the 2003 game.

My guilty pleasure game is probably Madden, or any football game. My favorite sport is hockey, I play it and watch it, but playing football games call for such strategy to win. I decided I would go on a Madden marathon, playing a season from each game. Starting with Madden 2001 on the PS2, the first 6th generation Madden game. I plan to play as the patriots every season, they have been my favorite team ever since I started watching football back in 1999 or 2000. After 4 weeks of madden 2001 here are my current results:
Week 1: Vs Tampa Bay - W 17-10

Week 3: Vs Vikings - W 28-3
Week 4: Vs Dolphins - W 49-10
This game certainly feels harder to play then what I'm used to, 2006/2008. Game play feels very weird, it's near impossible to turn on a dime. It's hard to complete a big play because you always seem to get chased down by a defender. When a defender catches you from behind they normally just dive at your legs and you drop to your knees. It's also hard to gain anything during a tackle, normally if you have momentum you will still be able to gain a yard or so during the tackle, not in this game. I'm not really here to say much about the games or review them so this will be more me just logging how my marathon goes.

My sister and I received a great gift on the Christmas Eve night in 1998. It was a new Nintendo 64 system with a atomic purple controller and a gray controller. Along with the system we got Monopoly(sealed), Mario Cart 64(cart), and F-Zero X(sealed). F-Zero X turned out to be our favorite game and still is my favorite to this day.
I decided, it being my favorite system, to make an attempt to collect all the games for the system. This is a great system, in my eyes, to collect for because it's an easy system to collect for. There are just under 400 games and all the US released games are rather easy to find. In fact the rarest game is probably the sculptors cut of Clay Fighter which goes for about $50, which isn't even that hard to find. Below are some stats and photos. I crossed out DK64 and Zelda MM on the gray/colored list because the gray carts of those games are near impossible to find. If you think my stats are incorrect let me know!(My totals at the very bottom) I'll update with photos as I get games, so if you care then check back for updates.
