Monday was Nick's Birthday and we made plans to go on a morning game hunt. We visited the usual places, Half Price Books, a couple Gamers locations, and Game Vault.
Half Price Books yielded a couple games for me, a strategy guide, and some manga from the clearance section.

At Gamers 002 I picked up a Sega Master System, a handful of SMS games, a Genesis game, and Pitfall II for 2600 (Nick bought that and gave it to me as part of a later trade.)

After leaving Gamers 002, we went over to Gamers 001. I didn't get anything there for myself, but picked up a CIB copy of Nosferatu SNES for Nick's birthday. The moron behind the counter tried to rip off the plastic but we managed to stop him before he totally killed it.
After that we made a run over to Game Vault, picked up a boxed copy of BomberMan 64, and Xenosaga II to complete the set of three.

Thanks again for the great birthday present going hunting really made my day. Very nice pick ups on the cd tradepost stuff now you have crash on ps2 and Gcube! Now I need to get both of them!

Gran Turismo 3. I know it's far from being rare or valuable but as far as game play goes, it's great.
If someone else were to choose 5 games for me to take to a deserted island and GT3 was one of them, you wouldn't hear any complaints about it.
Choplifter has such amazing cover art. The details, the emotion....it gets me every time. There is so much there, you really get a feeling for the story of the game....

Just picked up a CIB Xenosaga II a couple days ago, myself.
And I wouldn't mind trying out Bomberman LXIV, should the opportunity arise.
BTW have you actually played Iron Tank? And if so, would you recommend it?

@Zagnorch:I haven't played it yet, just got it from Nick actually... I'll let you know if it makes me want to kill myself or not! As for Bomberman 64 there was some discussion between the two guys working the counter at Game Vault that it was more a multiplayer game than single player, I didn't care either way, it's my first boxed N64 game and it's in great shape!
I'm excited that I picked up Xenosaga II finally for a decent price, completes the set... even if I haven't played any of them yet. Now I just need to find a .hack//Quarantine to complete the set of 4. Annoyingly the only places I've managed to find it they want at least 80 bucks for the damned thing. RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!

@Zagnorch: I have owned iron tank for a while and have yet to try it out but it looks interesting.
That bomberman is so minty.
