Amazing. Sucks I have exams the next two days and can't play for a while. Ughhhhhh... it's almost worth failing my exams to play.

This was really worth making a blog entry for. Roll Eyes

That sucks man.
I have to agree the game was amazing. I'm surprised more people haven't played it.

Game looks emo beyond belief. But I gotta applaud Nomura for designing characters without BELTAN ZIPPERS.

@Sirgin:

You act as though I wrote a big series of guidelines that every blogger has to follow. Rather, this is a tool that anyone can use, however they want. If they want it to be a collection diary, great! If they want it to be quick comments like this, then great! I wrote this to be enjoyed by all regardless of its use.

@Shimra: You... don't fail your exams. School is important, m'kay. Also, one of my friends was addicted to this game a few months ago, I tried it, it seems pretty interesting. Rock Band has consumed my gaming playing time though.

@TraderJake:I was being semi-serious in my comment, don't worry TJ. Smiley

But honestly, if everybody would write their "Unrelated Series of Thoughts" posts in blogs there'd be like 30+ new blogs like this each day.

@TraderJake: TJ,get off the Band and join the World Tour!

@Sirgin:

I hope someday there are 30+ every day, that'd be great, 300+ even better. I think your missing the point on what a blog is and what it's supposed to be. Leave the structured formality for college essays and resumes, it doesn't belong on a personal blog.

@c3973:Honestly, you guys are too serious at times.

@Sirgin:

Well golly gee whiz Batman, I didn't see it in the, as you say, "semi-serious" 9 words of criticism you typed or the condescending emoticon you used. Silly super serious me. For a minute there I thought your first comment was merely a thinly veiled criticism not the opening line of Jay Leno's monologue, my mistake.

@Sirgin: Sarcasm does not transfer well on the internet. Sarcasm can be hurtful at times, and if I was my brother I'd be pretty ticked off, but then I know and love my brother. Also, my brother is an excellent writer, regardless of how long or short his statements are. Regardless, this discussion is ended here.

@Link41: I actually have the Guitar Hero: World Tour Set, and I play Rock Band 2 with it. I think you can tell which one I like more.

@Shimra: Sorry that we commandeered your comment thread. We'll stop now.

I thought blogs were about you know, random events in your life or random thoughts or whatever. It's my blog, shouldn't I be able to post what I want? You don't have to read it. Also for what it's worth I planned on expanding this entry the more I play the game and talking about how much fun I'm having.

But yea, one more exam then hopefully a crap load of TWEWY. First RPG that I've played in a while which I exceptionally enjoyed. Plus the battle system is nuts.

Oh and I'm not really ticked off at all, I didn't even know that so many people read the blogs >_>. I moreso made it just to have a placeholder to post updates on my progression through the game.

Alright, update time.

Just finished day 3. This game is ridiculously fun. I have finally gotten the hang of the battle system and have lowered my level all the way down to level 3 so I can get more drops in battle. It's really awesome, the only thing that leveling up does is increase your hp, and you can choose which level you want to use. Say for example your characters are level 30. You could choose to fight at any number between 1 and 30. The lower the level, the higher the drops. Awesome way to make the game any difficulty you want.

Anyway, like I said I've gotten the hang of the battle system and can successfully fight on top screen and bottom screen simultaneously. Really neat because now I can do Shiki's combos while still paying attention to the bottom screen. I ended up beating Chapter 3's boss at level 3 on my first attempt (I think the max level I have is like 12) and obtained an A rank. It was pretty sweet.

Looking forward to the rest of the game.

@Shimra: I thought the option to lower your level was awesome as well, if they decide not to make a sequel to this game I hope they use this feature again sometime.

How do you like the story so far? This game is one of my favs based on almost story alone.

@Silent Scythe: It is one of the most unique and intriguing stories in any RPG I've played. I'm not too far so I don't fully grasp what is going on other than the general concept of 'the game.' But I love how it keeps me out of the loop and keeps throwing bits and pieces here and there. Due to it's highly unique story (which I can't say I've ever seen anything like it in an RPG), I have no clue what to expect. Always a huge plus.

Also, it's kind of funny how they say 'erased' but then other times they say 'kill'. I'm starting to think that being erased doesn't necessarily mean you are killed (don't tell me if I'm right on this one, I'm just thinking out loud).

@Shimra: I won't spoil anything for you, but it gets even better.

Alright, I'm on Day 7. SPOILERS

I have safely concluded that this is not the end of the game unless it is like, you know, 75% bigger than what I've played thus far. That one dude on the cover of the game (most likely Rhyme's sister) hasn't been introduced and I don't even have more than 25% of the enemies. So I'm pumped.

Alright, now getting to the story... this is awesome. They're dead. How the hell did I not guess this?! Seriously it should have been blatantly obvious ugh. Well, knowing that it's safe to say that Mr. H or whatever is a reaper (not sure if good or bad though). Also, I love Shiki! Her backstory is incredibly sad but moving. It's really weird. I've grown attached to her a lot like Neku has as slowly started growing attached to her as well. It's going to be real sad when she isn't my partner anymore (judging this off the instruction booklet which showcases Beat and Joshua). I really really want to see what she looks like.

So... I'm excited. I want to get Day 7 going tonight but I have to wake up early. Ugh...

@Shimra:

lol

Great blog.
Mine sucked way worse than this.
No seriously they did.... Cry

Alright made a good amount of progress. Spoilers

I'm on Day 3 Joshua. Story is starting to make a lot of sense and is getting extremely interesting. Awesome that Neku was playing for his memories and even more awesome he's playing for Shiki's life. Joshua is a really cryptic character. I'm still under the impression that he is Rhyme's brother. Also, he's probably working with Beat and playing for Rhyme's life. I'm calling that. But then again he isn't necessarily a player which is weird...

Anyway, the battles just got pretty damn hard. It sucks, I was dominating with Neku and Shiki. Now I'm stuck with Joshua and I still haven't gotten the hang of his high/low game. It's a pain in the ass trying to figure it out because now the enemies are much harder and the game introduced enemies which can only be hurt by the puck. Ugh. That's kinda annoying.

Anyway, I guess I'll play it some more later.

Hehe, well it didn't take as long as I thought it would to get used to playing as Joshua. He's pretty damn fun to play as. I'm on day 4 and the story is extremely interesting now.

Also, I'm obsessed with pin collecting, evolving, and evolution. Addicting.

Sorry for the complete lack of updates... it has been roughly 18 days, and I'm still on Joshua day 4 lol. I've been caught up trying to get a 4.0 (seeing as how I actually enjoy my classes, even ochem, I don't mind all the studying).

Anyway... SIN COSINE TANGENT! XD I love this gamemaster. Also I've been really really into collecting and evolving pins so I find myself playing a lot and not making much progress story wise. Good thing/bad thing? I dunno, but I'm having a ton of fun.

You have got to be ****ing kidding me! I just had the game spoiled for me. And I mean a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge spoiler. Son of a ****ing *****.

@Shimra: That sucks. Have you considered castrating the person that spoiled it for you?

Also, your Cory in the House Avatar is creepy. Isn't that contest over?

Ironically the game was spoiled for me because I planned on changing my avatar.

thats funny,but I agree with Dave wtf is up with that avatar? :p

Beat it. Anticipate an enormous review.

I now own this... i should totally play this after i finish pkmn ranger 2.

Looking forward to the review

Ugh...

So I was hoping to finish up the extra content after my exams only to find out that I need to boost my characters' attack levels in order to complete the segment I was hoping to before making a review.

Sorry if that's kind of confusing-- pretty much there is a piece of bonus content that I thought wasn't going to take too long but it is actually going to take a decent amount of playing. The reason I wanted to finish it is because it is a neat little alternate story to the real game.

Wow! Awesome bloggin there Shimra! It has comedy. It has tragedy. It even has intrigue! If i ever want to play an RPG other than FF online I'll check out WEWY. Sounds like the kind of game that could change my exp grind habits.

@ Izret101- Don't worry, my blog wasn't even as popular to this either.
