I'm new to the site, but have been an fan of collecting (besides games, I like to collect dvds and musical instruments) since 2002. I bought my first old school Atari at a garage sale in Montana from a very kind old lady. She had 50 games and 2 Atari systems for 50 dollars, so I took the offer and ran with it. My collection currently would be considered MODEST at best, as I have not nailed down what exactly I'm going for collecting wise. I am an avid NES fan, brings back memories of my father and I playing Super Mario Brothers 2 when he had time off. Pics of my little nook are soon to come as I take a look around!

Well, I'm the first to comment on your first first blog entry!
I can play, too, you know!
But seriously, I am considerin' startin' up the blogging thing, myself.
I've already written down several subjects and viewpoints I'd love to touch on and share. It's just that this whole "writing" thing can be a real cramp in the glutes.
And I don't mean writer's block, either-- I'm talkin' 'bout conveying my exhaustively extensive thoughts in a way that's reasonably coherent and comprehensible, and doesn't stray into TL;DR territory.
God forbid I end up boring you all to death...

Welcome to the site. And am I crazy or was this blog different last night? I was tired and a little buzzed, so maybe not. I could swear there was something about delivering a pizza and a certain vanity plate.
@Zagnorch: We all enjoy Slackur's blogs and I can't imagine anyone else writing something longer.
