- CyberVirus was a "lost" game until Songbird Productions acquired the rights to publish the game from its developer, Beyond Games.
- CyberVirus: CinciClassic Edition was a special pre-release at the CinciClassic gaming expo in Cincinnati, OH, in November of 2001. Only twenty-five numbered copies were ever produced, each originally retailing at $50.00 USD from Songbird Productions.
- The CinciClassic edition of CyberVirus differs from the later release of the game not only in its limited production and name, but also in that it features only eight mission objectives, whereas the "full" CyberVirus has sixteen.
