Title: Looking for a NES Advantage part
Post by: shaggy on July 26, 2017, 08:32:04 PM
I recently acquired a NES Advantage and the A button worked only some of the time so I took it apart and found out that the pad for the A button is worn out.  I've tried online and I couldn't find anywhere to get a replacement.  I am hoping someone has one or knows of a place to try to get one.  This is what it looks like:

Thanks.

Replacement parts for the advantage are hard to come by. You might try glue or some sort of silicone sealant. You could also try something like this:

Yeah, I was trying to avoid gluing it and I figured parts were hard to come by but an awesome dude on Nintendo Age had some spare parts so he sold me a few pads!
