Title: OEM Genesis 1 AV Cable Post by: donotfeariamhere on January 06, 2013, 12:22:02 AM I purchased an aftermarket Genesis 1 AV Cable of ebay(composite/RCA) a few weeks ago but it really bothers me that it is aftermarket and not the original product. Does anyone know where a buy an original Genesis 1 cable(made by Sega back in the day)?
Also, does anyone have any tips on how to differentiate between an OEM cable and aftermarket ones? Thank you! Is there a SEGA marking on it like Nintendo multi-out cables for SNES/N64/GC or some other give-away? Just an FYI, it's a branding change.
I think it has a Part # of MK-1601, if I'm not mistaken, but I don't remember if that's on the cable or not. |
