The Evil Leon is a reverend too.  Anyone want to get married at the RF Gen meet?  I can perform the ceremony.  Hopefully none of you die at it, but if so, we'll be prepared because I can do funerals too.

Edit: And I intend to murder Leon and Kyle.

So nep... was there any point to doing this?  Or was it just for fun?

He filled out some online form and was made a reverend for some no-name church in California.  Leon did the same, and he is actually thinking about paying the $10 for his certificate.  I don't know what site that is, but that has to be by far the easiest way to become ordained.  I bet there are several hundred thousand reverands just for that one church now lol.

I think we have a church in Washington that you can just walk in, fill out a forum and get ordained.

I can legally perform a marraige in the state of Illinois as of about a year ago.  I printed the certificate, but lost it somewhere.  I'll see if I can find the website again.

Very nice.
Is there an age limit?
I would like to marry someone at school.
10 bucks isn't much when you compare it to how much you can make off marrying people and the dead.

Please understand that there is no such thing as "instant online ordination." A computer cannot ordain you. Your request must be reviewed before your ordination can be done legally. You cannot be issued a credential automatically by a computer!

It took less than 24 hours for them to get back to me.  And no, there is no age limit.

It's time to ressuredt this thread because some surreal shit is going down.  Tomorrow at 7:00, I am marrying two of my friends.

Yes, you read that correctly.  I am marrying two of my friends.

My friends Kim and Eric found out about 3 weeks ago that Kim was pregnant.  They have no problem with the pregnancy, but there is an insurance problem.  Kim only works part time and as such, doesn't have health insurance.  Eric is a paramedic and does, so they need to get married so Kim can be put under Eric's insurance for her doctors appointment on the 5th.

So they called me up last week, remembering that I am a minister for the ULC, and asked if I would marry them.  After searching Michigan law for a week, it seems like it is absolutley legal and we are going ahead with it tomorrow.  I may have to video tape it and figure out how to get it up on the web.

Man, times are ca-RAZee.

Romantic indeed.... |D
