Meccano sucks, it's always sucked. I loved LEGO as a kid, and laugh if you want, I could express myself creatively with lego, and I learned simple lessons about physics. e.g if you build a tower too high without a wide base, it would fall over. I remember around 1980, when new Space Lego came out, and I was so excited, I ran home from the toy shop, and begged my Gandad to lend me some money to buy some.
