Title: 60 Minutes on Video Game Violence
Post by: Lord Nepenthean on March 07, 2005, 12:42:33 AM
Did anyone see this?  I unfortunately heard after the fact that 60 Minutes was airing a piece on video game violence earlier tonight.  I did however find a clip of it, and the transcripts for the whole thing, at CBSnews.com.  Take a look:

It's hard to say the tone they take, and it's harder still because Take2 and Rockstar would not comment on the suit in question....  but it does seem rather one-sided still.  But with the publishers refusing to respond, I guess it kinda had to be.  Still, it makes the industry look pretty bad to the average 40 or 50 something who might be watching 60 Minutes.

My CWI (current events) teacher taped it and we had a dissection about it.  Its fun arguing with hicks, they're all idiots and they can never back up any of their statements.
