Title: X-Box 2 news

I don't know yet how I feel about this. I think I am one of the few people that want just a VIDEO GAMES machine. I don't care if I surf the internet with it, watch movies, cook my dinner or whatever else.

It's ridiculous they're going to make the hard disc optional, but no the camera. What the hell does a console need a camera for? It's stupid.

No , I just want a gaming system too. Focus should be on great game play IMO.

Where did you read that?  In the article posted, all I saw was talk about online transactions and other things nobody cares about.

" Other features include a custom music player and a "store" where players could make small purchases, for pennies or a few dollars, of new characters, parts for virtual racing cars and the like."

Oh god.  I have a REAL problem with paying for a game to play it beyond the initial $50 (or $150 or whatever it will be now) price.

As do I.  The insanity around Everquest and Diablo II items being sold on eBay by Joe Schmoe is one thing, but when first parties are doing it, it angers me greatly.  Thank goodness for classic games.

I was going to post this the first time i saw it but was debating on if it should be in the Halo thread or here.
Decided here would be more appropriate.

I know alot of people who will be doing things like this.
I wonder what the reasoning behind the camera was. It had to be this or for sending sex vids out.

Therre are really no other reasons.
