Title: Pinball Machines Post by: Lord Nepenthean on March 14, 2005, 07:48:02 AM I know this isn't directly a video game topic, but video games and pinball always seem to be linked to each other for obvious enough reasons. So does anyone else here own a pinball machine or two? Have any pinball favorites? Or, just love pinball video games?
My dad owns this Evel Knievel pinball machine: (http://mirror1.ipdb.org/images/4499/793f1.jpg) http://mirror1.ipdb.org/images/4499/793f1.jpg Images from the IPDB. More info can be found here. I am probably not nearly as good as i like to think i am though. I liked the Mars Attacks pinball machine and the South Park and Simpsons ones among many many others. Title: Re: Pinball Machines Post by: den68 on March 14, 2005, 08:42:48 AM I've got this one:

I dunno which version yours is, but they have more info and photos at the IPDB:

I actually collect mini-pinball machines. I have a Crash Bandicoot one and a Spider Man one.
Title: Re: Pinball Machines Post by: den68 on March 14, 2005, 12:45:49 PM I've got the Crash Team Racing mini pinball. Last Time I was in Kay-Bee they had a Mario one and a Donkey Kong one. I should have grabbed them but they were like $25 bucks apiece.
Whenever I move I'd like to oneday get a couple more full size pinball machines. Title: Re: Pinball Machines Post by: tholly on March 14, 2005, 03:24:27 PM I have the Super Mario Bros. pinball machine

Title: Re: Pinball Machines Post by: Tynstar on March 15, 2005, 09:55:40 AM I wouldn't mind getting a pinball machine. I would want a game like Mr & Mrs Pac-Man Pinball or one of the other Pac Man pinball games but they have to big of a footprint.

For some reason most pinballs are a lot cooler than arcade cabinets. Even though I prefer to play arcade games. Used to have one. Sold it. Always on the look out for a slightly more modern one, i.e anything with a secondary game on the top bit. Title: Re: Pinball Machines Post by: TraderJake on March 21, 2005, 12:44:47 PM I have a really, really old Pinball machine by the name of Tropic Queens. We received it in a somewhat state of disrepair, so it sits in my storage room upright, unused. To descibe it, well, its so old that it doesn't have flippers, instead it has bumpers where flippers would be located, and in order to keep the ball from going out of play one would have to bump the machine so that the ball would move its course of direction. Heres a picture of the Island Queen Model:

My relatives had (I don't know if they still do) a pinball machine called Pokerino as well, and whenever I was over at their house I would always play it to death. |
