I've noticed over the past few days (can't remember if it coincided with the server change) that I have not been getting any emails when I get a pm, or replies for threads I'm subscribed to. Just curious if this is widespread or something is up with my account, and if we can fix it. It's not going into my spam or anything, and I didn't change any of my settings here or in my email account. Thanks guys, great work on the site. Title: Re: Not getting email notifications. On April 12 I received about 20 email notifications over the span of about an hour or so from various past PMs and thread subscriptions. Since that day I have not received any notifications (I've gotten plenty of PMs here and hits on subscribed threads). Thanks again for your continued efforts to make this work. We found out that, due to the number of emails per hour we were sending out, the functionality was disabled since we were flagged as a potential spam server. ;D
We're throttling it right now, so email notifications may be delayed (and hopefully the system catches up during the nights), but hopefully it means the functionality won't be disabled again. There seems to be some other items that our host turned off because we broke the TOS regarding the limitation. We had the same limitation on the old server, so it's just a matter of restoring the service. These kind of things happen when your setting is Unlimited and you get swarmed with spam registrations. :o
