Title: Search field for reviews
Post by: raffa1985 on May 06, 2014, 05:21:46 PM
Hi guys,

I noticed that we're given the best scores by writing reviews in the contest, which is great, because it's one of the most time consuming type of submissions, and for being so, it would be nice to have a way to find easier the reviews that we do here. They're too hidden in this site, that sometimes i feel discouraged to do more of them.

Particularly, i like to share my thoughts about a game and to read people thoughts as well, principally from people who i know virtually and share the same community.

Is it possible to do something about this issue?

Thanks for your attention!

We do have the blog system, where you can definitely post up your review.

I would completely agree with posting them to a personal blog in addition to the game page in the DB.
The blog entry allows for pictures and more creativity on your part and the ability for others to discuss the game/review while the game page allows for all the info to be in one place.

An idea I toyed with is just providing a link to a personal blog/review posted on the site in that section instead.
For example:

Reviews:
SirPsycho's Review:
http://www.rfgeneration.com/news/yuzo-koshiro/Psychotic-Reviews-Beyond-Oasis-2805.php

It would also help dealing with that wall of text on the page if you have more than 1 review. ;)
