Just thought this was interesting.

As a child, I remember Pac-Man scratch cards. There was no prize, but you scratched off the squares, and had to try to get to a powerpill, without finding a ghost.

I've already checked Michigan's lottery site. We are not carrying that scratch off game. too bad, it would have been a neat addition to the collection.

Would someone go by me a few tickets? I will send you the money.

I am so proud of myself i knew what Indiana looked like from the icon in the FireFox searchbar.

If someone were to pick me one (or more) of these i would shell out the $$$ for them.

I'll have to check with my parents, but I can probably buy them for all of you.  Just PM me how many you want and I'll figure out the prices, but try to be quick...it's not running for long.

The only problem I can think of would be if it's illegal to send lottery tickets out-of-state, but I doubt that.

Okay, it turns out these tickets are on sale until February 14, 2006.  So nevermind that whole "not running for long" thing.

If there is a problem with sending tickets out thru the mail you are covered as long as it is in an envelope.

After all tampering with your mail would be a federal offense.(I wonder if that would really work out though...)

Alright, I got the okay from my parents, but there's still the problem that it could be illegal to buy Lottery tickets and not use them, as well as the problem of mailing tickets out-of-state.

I have no idea where to go to find out the technicalities of the laws surrounding this, so if any of you have any idea as to where I could go to find that out, I would be more than glad to mail them as long as I know that it's legal.

Is there tax on lottery tickets?  And if there is, how much?

I'll need to know this to figure out how much to charge people for the tickets before I buy them.

zno tax on Lottery tickets and it is not illegal to buy them and not use them.
As for bringing them out of state i don't see why it would be illegal because those people will not be able to collect the money unless they go to the state the tickets came from to claim their winnings.

If you are worried about the laws surrounding this, then keep in mind that any state crime involving the mail service can become a federal crime.  But I wouldn't really worry about it, who the hell is going to notice a few lotto tickets in the mail?

It would be illegal for you mail to be tampered with anyways.
So in the end you would be aquitted and you could sure the post office for defamation of character.

got one! a friend from work went to a trade show in Indiana last week and grabbed me one.

Awesome!  I got one a few days ago.  It's sitting in a frame on top of my game shelf right now.
