Looks like if you purchased a Vita before June 1, 2012 that you'll likely get a refund/voucher coming your way.

Well given there were ESRB ratings and the FTC are not international i would assume that is why no one cares about the rest of the world.

Federal Trade Commission is a US-government organization. Bring it up with whatever agency handles it in the UK, and you could cite this as precedent.

i have no idea when i bought my vita but i'm pretty sure it was after that...but also not in US, so oh well.
