Check this out. Such a **** almost bought it too. Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: Izret101 on May 24, 2005, 02:48:04 PM So so so stupid.
I remember seeing the same thing about Xbox, GCN and PS2, PCs, repair info, getting free comps from Dell. (Dude even had a reciet for that one though.) I just can't wrap my mind around it... Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: Speedy_NES on May 24, 2005, 04:18:31 PM I also dislike the fact that the guy is cashing in on the ignorant buyers, but it's still their own fault...they should read the description better. I mean it's pretty clear from that description that you're not getting an Ipod...I pity the buyers ;)
-Speedy Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: Tynstar on May 24, 2005, 04:54:56 PM I HATE sellers like that. But it is the bidders fault.
Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: Arrrhalomynn on May 24, 2005, 10:41:27 PM I wouldn't say it's just the bidder's fault. Just look at the title of the auction. He's scamming gullible people out of their money.
Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: thx1138 on May 24, 2005, 11:51:47 PM I hate all the crap that floods eBay like this.
I really hate the shit that clogs up the wholesale forum. It's almost impossible to find any proper stock, becuase of the garbage like this on every page. Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: Tynstar on May 25, 2005, 07:47:05 AM Ebay sellers like that should be beat to death.
Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: den68 on May 25, 2005, 08:09:41 AM that's why they tell you to read the fine print. I looked at his feedback and it seems he makes a habit of posting misleading auctions.
it does say "no ipod"... at the bottom. it's pretty clear he's banking on people not fully reading the description. ass Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: bum-man on May 25, 2005, 12:27:43 PM I can't figure out how he got postive feedback on other auctions just like that one, what the hell are people thinking!
Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: Hydrobond on May 26, 2005, 04:53:11 AM He has positive feedback because some people are more interested in getting information on how to get a cheap iPod than actually getting the iPod.
These things usually end up being something like calling the manufacturer and telling them you are considering carrying the product at your store and would like a sample for testing purposes. (That was a horrible sentnce, but who cares, this is the internet.) Title: Re: Crafty Little Bastard Post by: den68 on May 26, 2005, 04:55:52 AM dude, you could have auctioned off that little tidbit on ebay for big bucks.
