Title: Re: Just scored a great deal on a Commodore 64C bundle Post by: Zagnorch on April 02, 2016, 02:39:08 PM Looks like I'm in good company. Not that you care, but the C64 was the first gaming platform I ever owned. Well, actually my parents owned it, but I put many more hours on it than the both of them combined. Most of that time was me waiting for the datasette games to load... and reload when the first attempt failed... and re-reload when the second attempt failed. It made me wish I had more cartridge and floppy games, lemme tell ya.
A few years back I dropped a hundy on a big ol' C64 lot that included a classic keyboard, a 64C keyboard, monitor, datasette drive, disk drive, a bunch of joysticks, several user guides and programming books, and a ton of practical home & office app software and edjamacational games. I got pretty much everything except the printer that noisily prints my work on sprocket-fed fanfold paper.
