Released this year, Jade Empire: Limited Edition is the most recent Action/Adventure RPG from Bioware, the creators of Knights of the Old Republic. The developer is quickly gaining a good reputation, and this game is evidence of why. For any Xbox gamer, this is a must-have game. Whenever you start thinking about how much you love Halo, or start wondering if Xbox actually has any other killer games besides it, check Jade Empire out. Edit Post by: NESJunkie on June 21, 2005, 06:47:23 PM I've got this game and believe it when they say its that good! Excellent game with a good stroy that drives the entire experience. Lots of stuff to do in the story line and lots to do outside of it. The game plays like Knights and Fable where your decision shapes the way your character is reacted to by others. I haven't beaten it yet, right now I am just enjoying the ride!!

I'm on my 2nd play through, going on the bad side this time, and some tough (im)moral decisions have to be made in order to keep your "bad"ness intact. The interesting thing is that I had the same unsettling feeling when playing as dark side in KOTOR1; almost as if you feel guilty for being evil! 8) Imo, that's a testament to excellent writing and NPC development.
