Title: The 4th of July
Post by: Zimbacca on July 02, 2005, 02:03:38 PM
Anyone doing anything special for the 4th of July?

I'm still trying to find something.  I'll probably just buy some fireworks tomorrow and blow some stuff up.

Nope.  I think it's a pretty overrated holiday.

I'm not doing anything special, but then again I'm not in the US anymore ;)

I am finally getting rid of a bunch of stitches on Monday, though, that I got from surgery a week and a half ago to fix an abdominal hernia.  The worst part, though, is that I still can't work out nor go swimming or do any other exercise for another 2-3 weeks!  If it were winter, then no problem, but especially now in the summer that is just not fair ;)

So i will chill out at home.
Maybe i will grill up some hamburgs and hotdogs for me and my grandpa.

I like freaks idea though.
Maybe i will blow up something. :)

Tomorrow I have to walk in a parade dressed as Lumiere, the candlestick from Beauty & the Beast (that the show I am currently working on).  The problems is the costume is layers of heavy back velvet and it's suppose to be in the mid-80's with high humidity.  If I survive the parade I will be drinking heavily the rest of the day and on Monday to celebrate.

My family is probably having some kind of small get-together or something on Monday, but that's about it for me.  I'm off work on Monday and Tuesday, so I guess that's the exciting part of my holiday.
