Title: PS3 Won't Ship with a HDD Post by: Lord Nepenthean on July 03, 2005, 07:19:29 PM According to Famitsu, the PS3 will not be shipping with a hard drive, but of course it will support one. The article doesn't say whether or not the HDD will be available at launch or later on.

If they do release the thing at $399 still though, without a hard drive, that makes the price seem even higher still. IF, and I stress the IF, Sony does ship it without a hard drive, the price suddenly rises to probably $499 if you want the HDD. Sucks if you ask me.
