Pretty much any thrash speed metal does it for me, but unfortunately there isn't much of it, especially not in the states. Exodus does it too. I like all sorts of music, but I don't understand the mentality of my gym. Sure it's more women than men, it's not a "weights" gym, more a keep healthy gym, but even so - why do they always have sloppy soul or r 'n' b music on? For goodness sake, don't they realise it puts EVERYONE off of working out? My times on the aerobic equipment is greatly affected if some crumby "ooh" song comes on.
