I am pretty sure he did attempt a speed run but i to do a speed run you have to be pretty successful at getting nearly no items and being able to skip "essential" items like super missles and such. The only necessary items for beating the game would be- Morphing Ball (1) Missiles (1 or 2) Bombs (1) Energy Tanks (3) Charge Beam (1) Super Missiles (2 or 3) Varia Suit (1) [Speed Boots OR Ice Beam] (1) Power Bombs (1) Gravity Suit (1) ------------------- (14) Taken from Kejardon, the best Super Metroid player ever. |
