Does this hold any credibility? http://www.ps2settlement.com/ I didn't have time to read all the legal jargon but it seems like people who bought their PS2s more than 13 months ago get shafted. Post by: Patrick on November 10, 2005, 03:04:54 PM My PS2 finally gave up the ghost and started telling me this last week, coincidentally! Fortunately I was in a brave mood at the time (and really wanted to play Killer7) so I checked up on the web about them and read cleaning the lens would fix it. I popped the top off and did exactly as told, and now it works a treat. As good as the day I bought it! I don't even have to wait on the "browser" screen anymore. Still, what a terrible thing to happen to a console that's only a few years old.
