If you mean like while you waiting for a game to load or your at a stand off you play another game I used to do it all the time. I dont play games nearly as much as i should anymore.

I play FF11 on my comp, and have metroid on my SP all the time.  FF11 has lots of waiting so I kill the time killing metroids.

Well when you waiting through a long video sequence or a loading screen why not grab a gameboy and blast some metroids. You say we need to make more production of our time I say we do by not sitting doing nothing in between loading and videos.

multi tasking is a good skill to have.  how else to you expect to survive a zombie attack if you can't kill things and watch your friends backs at the same time.

I sometimes play two or three games at the same time, just to "show off".

Like I used to play Hyper Olympics on my coin-op and play Dictator on a Spectrum and Scrabble on a C64 - but it's pretty pointless.

What I did see once was a Japanese guy playing two seperate laser gun coin=ops
think it was two House of the Deads or something, but both at the same time, light gun in each hand. Man that was amazing!

I don't think I've ever attempted this.  I doubt I would be coordinated enough to manage it.  Gotta love games that have old Atari classic clones at load screens.  Can't think of any offhand, but there are several out there.  Very good idea that more developers should take advantage of.

I recall Ridge Racer (PS1) had Galaga at the initial Load screen, and there was some sort of secret to unlock if you destroyed all the ships before it finished.

Yeah. Did that the other day.

Also tape based games on the Spectrum had "invada load" A quick machine code game of Space Invaders would load and you could play it for the 5 mins it took the game to load from a tape deck.

At least you had a game to play while it was loading... Crash Wrath of Cortex you just have to sit there and wait and wait and wait...

Back in my Everquesting days I would play Everquest while doing everything. I would read books, play other games, talk to people on the phone, eat and sleep (That was interesting).

There's this Asian guy that comes into my store all the time and buys our entire stock of Lineage 2 games and time cards. He does this on a regular basis. I think he's running multiple macros and then selling the characters on Ebay or something. I don't really care to ask him about it because he doesn't speak english well. That, and the little chicky that comes in with him is unbelievable. Frankly, I'd rather do what I do best and just ogle from afar, preferably behind something so I can't be seen.

People make tons of money doing that on ebay its stupid. why would anyone buy an account? whoever buys and account is a moron but whoever sells an account is brilliant i think
