Title: Meet Wind Waker's Evil Little Brother
Post by: TraderJake on March 23, 2006, 03:10:32 PM
Welcome back to the Cel-Shaded world of the Wind Waker, a world that held the gaming world in a devisive rift over it's artistic style. So many people hoped never to see it again, and they thought that the Twilight Princess hinted that perhaps their wishes would be granted.

Turns out Nintendo doesn't like to grant wishes. Meet The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

IGN Impressions... Includes Screens (http://ds.ign.com/articles/697/697930p1.html)

Directed by Eiji Aonuma, the same guy behind Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess, this game has the potential to be something truly great. Sure the graphics are cel-shaded, but boy do they look nice on the DS. I am interested to see how the game plays, which will be revealed come E3.

Phantom Hourglass is expected to be released in 2006.

Is anyone else getting a little worn out on Zelda games?  I will probably still go out and buy Twilight Princess and this new one when it comes out, but there are just so many games for me to play through.

I don't have any handhelds so no I am not getting worn out on them.

If they were not good i could understand it.

But they have all been good, at least the ones i have played.
We can leave CD-i out of this.
We don't need more screenshots...
