True, but it's not the people that will eat you, it's the roads that will never let you escape.

Especially during pothole season.

we've got potholes that will swallow you whole here too. that's why Michigan roads are under construction 90% of the time.

One of the Detroit potholes molested my girlfriend.

Detroit is the top frame. Cincy is the bottom frame.
You guys get a nice grid street layout, we get complete convolution.  Not to mention the streets change names all the time.  You can be on the same piece of road, but it will change names 4 different times as you drive down it.

Northern Kentucky.

They like to think that they are truly from Kentucky, but let's face it -- they're not.

Northern Kentucky. If they're wasn't a River separating them, you'd never know it wasn't in Ohio.

Careful, don't be telling people we associate with Kentucky.

We don't. We just go there to pillage their entertainment and shoot guns right in front of the movie box office.

Hey! >:(

Oh..... :'(   No love for us hillbillies.  Looks like I'll have to miss this one, unfortunately, even though it's within reasonable driving distance for me.  My wife has to play Easter Bunny this weekend and I have to guard the house an our daughter (don't ask).  One of these days I'll stop talking about going to one of these things and actually show up.  Oh well.

Hey! >:(

It was in jest.  In reality, a lot of people in Cincinnati go across the river on a regular basis for entertainment and to take advantage of the lower taxes.  We just don't want to admit it.

It isn't as though 2 months has stopped you from drinking before.

cincinnati is entrenched in a major river valley, and the roads reflect fact.  i grew up there, and now i live in columbus, and i have to say one of the things i miss most about cincy are the hills and terriain.  columbus is all boring squares except for a few subdivisions and watersheds.

You wouldn't know it, but parts of the Scioto River Valley are part of an ancient river valley. I don't believe that the pre-glacial Teay's River flowed through Columbus, but I know it did meander along the same valley the Scioto of today does.

All that traffic is for the weak. You should see LA's traffic.

Well LA gets what it deserves in terms of traffic. A huge city with a poor mass transit system and a bunch of rich yuppies is sure make your transit system car oriented.

Yeah, let's nuke LA.
