Title: Xbox 360 Marketplace points question. Post by: phoenix1967 on May 03, 2006, 07:49:30 AM Do marketplace points used to purchase content, XBox Live Arcade games, etc. be obtained by any means other than by purchasing the points directly from either Xbox Live or from the retail points card?
I guess what I'd like to know is are there any ways of earning points via gameplay which could then be used in a transaction for obtaining marketplace content? Then I found out you had to by the points which seems really stupid IMO.

It just adds a step to the process.

Now I haven't bought any of the garbage like Oblivion horse armor, but the actual games seem to be pretty worth it. Plus they're the only things on the Xbox my girlfriend will even consider playing.
