What can anyone tell me about this game?
i dont know how many levels are in it im on 7-4 and im trying like hell to get through. >:(
if anyone could tell me how many levels are left or info on the rest if any levels are left i would appreciate it |D

You're insane. Beating The Lost Levels is like climbing Mt Everest in video game terms.

well im 8-3 so i figure ive only got to got through a max of 9 more levels

But it's more fun talking about here :), imagine if every time we wanted to find some info on a game we went to gamefaqs, it would be quiet here.

Gamefaqs is a great site - for lazy lil brats like my brother and people who want to trade Animal Crossing cards...lol

It can be useful - sometimes.

I liked the GTA 3 guides, as it helped me squeeze a bit more gameplay out the game when i'd fnished - such as the non-unique  insane jumps guide.

Finding cool places to jump is one of the things I like doing best to be honest.

well once i finish this im going to geta guide to try and beat it faster and with out looking for warps because my friend told me that if you beat it with out warping you get more levels afterwards too.

Het, now I know what i want to do this weekend.  I haven't played the lost levels for a couple of years now, and I think I'll pick it up again this weekend.

ah, yes, I know that frustration well. Many times over the years have I sworn in such situations. From my PS2 crashing mid-save, to my mum unplugging my Zx-Spectrum to do the hoovering over 20 years ago........

Mine was usually my mum picking up the phone or dialling up to the internet downstairs midway through an important clan match, before I got broadband.  There were some interesting arguments in my house :P

I'm going to guess you lost most of them?

JESUS CHRIST I AM DOOMED TO NEVER FINISH THIS WHOLE GAME.
I beat it so ya im really psyched i beat through the first half of the "harder" levels. Decide to take a break when i come back my little brother deleted my game and trys to act like he didnt know what happened.
Now i have a bend in my chair from throughing it and i need to find all the stuff that i knocked off my desk.
All in all i think i wasted like 90 hours playing that game to have my dick head brother delete it then laugh it off.

yeah, i think that nintendo power ran a contest to see who could beat this game without using warps.  (back in the day).   thats how hard it is.

Well the real test not only comes from beating it without warps, but without saving, since the original didn't have that feature added in like the U.S. All-Stars release did.

saving wouldnt really be a problem. i have no problem leaving my system on for as long as it would take me to beat it.

I picked this up again, and I lost it on world 8-4.  I just couldn't take it any more.  I got 1 inch away from beating the game, but I misjudged bowsers jump and died.  Uggghhh.

My god this game is hard...i was stuck on 8-3 forvever

This game is fun AND hard.

I don't remember the fatal events of the day i "throughed" my chair and lost everything off my desk but i don't doubt it happened....
