Title: Dream Machine in SPFLD closed
Post by: Izret101 on June 11, 2006, 08:58:36 AM
The Dream Machine was the local and ancient arcade.

They closed there doors without warning on monday.

Me and some friends had a nearly 3foot wheel of tickets we had rolled together.

Plus another couple hundred in small loose ones and another 4thousand in certificate form.

So needless to say alot of time/money was invested into them.

In anycase they are supposed to be auctioning off the arcade stuff soon. I won't be able to afford any of it and i really don't have a place to store it but i might go just to see how much these things go for.

Going off memory they had Marvel vs. Capcom, 4 "Easy Money" ticket machines, 4+ claw machines, one Pachinko style machine, a DDR machine, 2 guncon games whose names i don't remember and at least 4 more arcade cabs(i think all racing ones) and probably 6-10 other arcade games.

Auctions are supposed to start at 50$s even though i have nowere to store it if see something i really want and it stays resonable (sub200$s i know unlikely) i will pick it up

Yea i was never able to make it to the auction.
Which was yesterday :-/

It doesn't matter because if i had gone and did win something i wouldn't have had a truck available at the time to transport it.

I will always be able to think i may have won a cool arcade cab though.
