I think the dude who originally did it dove from 10 miles up.
Maybe 15?

In anycase you could see the earth below and space above you.
It was wicked freaking cool.

I don't know if i want this guys body to explode or not yet. though...
I will deliberate...

It says in the article that a guy made a similar jump in 1960 from 102,800 feet. 

102 800 feet = 19.469697 miles

I can see the earth below me and space above me from the breathtaking altitude of zero feet.  ;-)

Would he even get an adrenaline rush from this jump? It sounds like he has done way to many jumps for this one to really be a rush.

You know those styrophoam aeroplanes they sell at shopping mall kiosks that you throw and they do a loopdie-loop and come back to you? When I was like 6, I tore the wings off one and duct taped them to a backpack and jumped off the electric box in my front yard. I flapped them really hard on the way down. I never did get them to work. Maybe someday.
