Title: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: den68 on September 28, 2006, 11:58:25 AM http://www.kelloggs.ca/cgi-bin/klog-canada/promotion.pl?company=2&promotion=5777
There's nothing on this promotion on Kellogg's US site but the promotion is here too. I've seen the TV spots and actually have the motorcycle game. I'll now see how long it takes for the LCD bashers to post and for Tholly to tell us he'll order the whole set from eBay. Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: Tynstar on September 28, 2006, 12:47:53 PM LCD games suck and I hope Tholly orders a full set on Ebay!
Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: phoenix1967 on September 28, 2006, 03:26:16 PM LCD?
Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: sailorneorune on September 28, 2006, 03:57:17 PM LCD = Liquid crystal display, like on the original Game Boy, or at least I think so
I was getting some late-night shopping in last night and I saw one of those minigame offer blurbs on a box of cereal. Interesting... Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: den68 on September 28, 2006, 03:59:33 PM and all those many many Tiger handhelds.
Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: phoenix1967 on September 28, 2006, 04:08:12 PM That's what I thought. And it's a liquid crystal display game for xbox? ...sounds crappy. :P
Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: chrisbid on September 28, 2006, 04:39:23 PM its probably very similar to the handhelds given away at burger king and mcdonalds over the past few years.
they arent super fun, but if there is a cool theme (sega/classic activision/etc) then they are worth collecting what is the theme, other than xbox (id look myself, but most websites are filtered here at work) Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: den68 on September 28, 2006, 06:47:59 PM
yup, just like the ones in Happy Meals. Spaceship Blaster - Eliminate the enemy spaceships before they reach you Motorcycle Madness - Avoid or eliminate oncoming traffic to move up a level and win Disco Mania - Copy the dance instructor's moves to move through the levels Robo Blast - Capture the robots before they escape Mystic Castle - Navigate through the castle, collecting gems and defeating enemies simple, but a cool collectable. I always try to pick these things up. Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: Izret101 on September 28, 2006, 10:03:16 PM I love things like these.
I never get most of them though. Maybe i can talk my mom into buying cereal that i will never eat so i can get them all. I am so lame... Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: captain_nintendo on September 30, 2006, 02:37:34 PM These type of free Mc Donald's / cereal games are nothing but crap IMO. I would like to have a complete tiger collection some day. You're mad like I am then...lol I have possibly the most complete Tiger LCD collection (from 87-98, 5 styles) and I'm missing quite a few. If you ever find the New Kids on the Block one then you're damn lucky. That one and 720 have been evading me for the past 10 years! Good luck though. Garage sales, flea markets, and ebay are your best sources. Don't ever pay more than $5 MAX loose and $15 sealed. Most you can get for $0.25-$2.00. These Xbox LCDs... I doubt I'll get em. I can't justify paying $8+ for a box of cereal and not even for a handheld. Thats only becasue all LCD games suck complete ass! ;) Title: Re: Xbox Mini games in Kellogg's Cereal Post by: Shimra on October 08, 2006, 08:33:04 PM Game and Watch games were awesome....
