The Dreamcast might have been ahead of it's time, but at least we got some great software from it! This week's featured game is Bangai-O. An interesting shooter that plays like a platformer. If you enter your name as the last selectable character i believe it is a cat or something similair then you get inf ammo. I have beat it a few times with and without infinite ammo. It is really cool to use the special firestrike thing that could blow up tons of shit on screen. A great shmup and a must have title for the DC IMO. I also hate anime, which this thing is laced with.
I was wondering though, how does the n64 version hold up to the dreamcast version? If I remember correctly, the graphics are very small and detailed, something the n64 doesn't seem very capable of of producing. |
