Title: Re: T9 predictive text... Post by: Izret101 on December 04, 2006, 09:15:39 AM it is supposed to add words you use frequently to its list of set words.
As far as i can tell the function doesn't work. Or at least not like it is described. Title: Re: T9 predictive text... Post by: AndyC on December 04, 2006, 09:27:04 AM I don't use it, it winds me up far too much.
Title: Re: T9 predictive text... Post by: TraderJake on December 04, 2006, 09:40:25 AM I use predictive text on the Wii, on that it generally works very well, with the few exceptions where it does not like to end words, such as when camp automatically becomes camper. I hate when that happens.

Title: Re: T9 predictive text... Post by: danah on December 04, 2006, 10:54:20 PM I think t9 is nice, i saw a tutorial on how to use it and it's ok. I think it's a matter of getting used to it. It's much easier to use than multi-tap. Here's the tutorial http://www.t9.com/learn

Post by: Cobra on December 24, 2006, 01:52:35 AM My Panasonic VS7 uses its been a while since I used that phone but from memory I had no issues with it. My Motorola V3x uses iTAP Motorola's equivalent. It's okay, but would be better if it stored more words, and wasn't glitchy in MMS typing.
I can be a great time saver when it remembers long words, especially when it's something like an email address you have to use more than once. It's also doubles up as a spell check on your phone if you think about it. OpenOffice has something similar, and it has saved me time when re typing my resume. |
