The realtors would have made a killing and the market would drop. Those who bought into it would now have significantly lower "property value" and never recoup their money back.

"
Second life is just about as fun as watching a snail race. It's be cool if guilds could own buildings. I wasted so much time in my house in SWG. Private property is the biggest complaint I have in WoW. I guess there is no way to make in integrate well with the game, but I still miss that aspect of the genre. Plenty enough fake 3D real estate for me.

I guess there is no way to make in integrate well with the game, but I still miss that aspect of the genre. It could be done. Make a building in the major cities like an "apartment block" or something, you could then have an instance door that takes you to your, or maybe your guild's, room. You could pay rent, or a stupid amount of money, for ownership. Decorate it or what not, doesn't matter, it'd just be cool. It'd be something to buy after the epic flying mount. |
