Title: Free Playstation (PS1) e-book Post by: Tan on April 11, 2007, 07:27:11 PM from Kotaku:
The "Guide to All Things Playstation" which has everything from Guiness World Book of Records-esque factoids about why a wombat almost became Sony's mascot, to more useful information like every US game ever released for the Playstation, is now available at Lulu as a pdf download for freebies! Although you have to register with Lulu to get it, it's virtually painless and it's fun to poke around on the digital publisher's site and see what kinds of things super-indie illustrators are drawings these days. Kim Phu http://www.lulu.com/content/199472 I've just downloaded this e-book BTW, it's only 15 meg in size after a 30 second registration. Awesome doc any collector should have. History of the Playstation, checklists, parts numbers, publisher info, etc. etc. of nearly 1300 NTSC games and a selection of the most rare European and Japanese ones. Also the Lightspan games, Demos discs and more. Makes a great reference for staff members and members alike when doing submissions. Right now i am most interested in the Lightspan stuff. I would like to know more about those things since they cost me a decent amount.... Title: Re: Free Playstation (PS1) e-book Post by: Tondog on April 12, 2007, 02:50:22 PM This book is definitely worth signing up for the site to get. It's a great resource for PS1 games complete with what the value of the games are.
Title: Re: Free Playstation (PS1) e-book Post by: Tan on April 12, 2007, 03:01:13 PM As a resource it's fantastic, but as a price guide it's a fantasy land. I'd love to get these games at these prices, I'd have triple what I have now I'm sure. :P
Title: Re: Free Playstation (PS1) e-book Post by: Tondog on April 12, 2007, 05:49:21 PM Final Fantasy VII for $8?! HAHAHAHA! Dream on! It goes for 5 times that all the time on eBay.
Title: Re: Free Playstation (PS1) e-book Post by: den68 on April 20, 2007, 09:14:40 PM it's nice having a color copier and wire binding machine at my disposal. I printed that sucker out 2 sided and bound it with a nice black plastic back cover and translucent front cover.

He said one day all his Wii stuff will be mine as well. Most likely his Xbox games also. He would want to look through the PSX book.

I said one day that I was thinking about starting a Wii collection and he said "as far as I'm concerned you already have". He said all his Wii stuff is mine. So far he has about 15 games and 4 controllers.
