Title: Help with ebay charity auctions
Post by: Fuyukaze on April 18, 2007, 04:18:13 PM
As the topic implies, I'm trying to find out what's required to set up auctions that are able to be one without paying the ebay listing fees and paypal fees.  I've read a little on the subject but never gave it much thought.  Today I recieved news about a friend's wife that was the worst it could be.  To try and help I'm wanting to sell off my extras to try and help them cover the medical expenses.  It wont ammount to much, but if it helped any I'd gladly do it.

If this is in the wrong forum, please move it to the apropriate one.

Thanks for any posible advice anyone can give.

Sorry about your friend's wife, I hope things work out.  I know they have GivingWorks http://pages.ebay.com/givingworks/ but I think you need to be a registered charity to take advantage of it and I believe they still charge you the fees but send an amount equal to the fees to the charity if all the profits of the auction goes to the charity.

I was afraid that may be the case.  Well, thanks for the help.  I'm going to have to look at my options on what I can or cant do, but something tells me I may as well just make a b/s thread.
