Title: Moving companies Post by: Izret101 on April 25, 2007, 06:02:35 PM I am looking into some options to get my stuff shipped/moved down to me.
Just in case. But i wanted to know if anyone had used any of these nationwide moving companies before or if they could supply the name of someplace reliable. I am trying to do some searching on it but alas it is slow and aggrivating. Title: Re: Moving companies Post by: Tynstar on April 25, 2007, 06:09:59 PM Since you don't have that much rent a Uhaul. And by not having much I mean a full house worth of stuff to move.
Title: Re: Moving companies Post by: Izret101 on April 25, 2007, 06:26:43 PM I was talking to Laurel last night and she was saying when she was going to move her stuff she looked into a Uhaul and it was way more expensive than some moving company she couldn't remember the name of.
I am hoping she can figure it out otherwise i will try to get my parents to uhaul the stuff down here in 3-6 months Title: Re: Moving companies Post by: Hydrobond on April 25, 2007, 06:36:14 PM ^The cheapest do-it-yourself moving comapny I could find when I was moving into the apartment was Enterprise Rent-a-Truck. They had everything from a van all the way up to a huge truck. I'm sure it will vary by region, but just throwing my two cents in.
Title: Re: Moving companies Post by: Izret101 on April 25, 2007, 07:03:49 PM Well varying by region means alot since i trveled thru 3?
North east, south east, central. I moved from Mass to Texas... Title: Re: Moving companies Post by: Hydrobond on April 25, 2007, 07:29:11 PM As in the prices may be different for renting one in Mass than they were for renting one in Cincy. Traveling through a region shouldn't change the price, except that they will charge for mileage.
Title: Re: Moving companies Post by: Tynstar on April 25, 2007, 08:00:11 PM I still say Uhaul. I don't want anyone handling all my stuff. Also Laurel moved out of country so that might be why it was so much.
Title: Re: Moving companies Post by: Izret101 on April 25, 2007, 08:32:39 PM True... in Laurels case i was thinking strictly milage/gas for Uhaul.
Maybe they do have some added fee for boarder hopping. Title: Re: Moving companies Post by: Tan on April 25, 2007, 08:37:50 PM If you've got a vehicle with a tow hitch get a uhaul trailer. Small, cheap and you handle everything yourself. ;)
