Title: ultimate MK3 Post by: ganonbanned on April 29, 2007, 09:38:50 PM what system is it best on, besides the arcade version?
Title: Re: ultimate MK3 Post by: Izret101 on April 29, 2007, 10:52:17 PM IMO Genesis
Someone who has played it on every system can argue if they want. Title: Re: ultimate MK3 Post by: Ghost Soldier on April 30, 2007, 08:24:42 AM I like the snes version of it.
Title: Re: ultimate MK3 Post by: phoenix1967 on May 01, 2007, 09:20:21 AM But there's no blood in the SNES version...
Title: Re: ultimate MK3 Post by: Ghost Soldier on May 01, 2007, 11:16:52 AM The original Mortal Kombat on SNES was the only bloodless one. Instead of blood you had sweat. All the other MK's had blood, fatalities, etc.
Title: Re: ultimate MK3 Post by: Izret101 on May 01, 2007, 06:23:27 PM Just wondering why the preference for the SNES version?
Title: Re: ultimate MK3 Post by: Ghost Soldier on May 02, 2007, 08:39:06 AM Just wondering why the preference for the SNES version? It was one of the version's I owned and I didn't have to wait for it to load.Title: Re: ultimate MK3 Post by: Tynstar on May 02, 2007, 12:39:00 PM Genesis has load time?

In anycase if you have the 6 button Genny controller there is A,B,C,X,Y,Z, start SNES controller has A,B,X,Y, start, select, L,R 1)High Punch 2Low Punch 3)High Kick 4)Low kick 5)Block 6)Pause If memory serves a those are the only buttons used... Oh wait there may have been a run button on SNES... If there was on genny you tapped left/right 2x to run. 1 buttons doesn't make a huge difference. On the old MK games where you only had ABC and the same number of move combos it was a real issue. EDIT In hind site. Pick up one of the Midway Arcade Classic compilations. I believe UMK3 is on one of them... Being seperated from my mortal kombat stuff is destroying my memory :-/ I can't even remember for sure what variants i own and don't own in some cases :'( Title: Re: ultimate MK3 Post by: ganonbanned on May 05, 2007, 12:37:31 PM I really dont care what she thinks anymore. and i'll probly get the GB version j/k
