Title: Weird Tape-Playing Handheld Post by: Lord Nepenthean on September 20, 2004, 03:49:21 PM About a month ago, I was at a local The Village (local thrift), and I came across what looked at first like a regular multi-game no-name crappy handheld. Then, I noticed that it had "Play," "Stop," and "Fast-Forward" buttons on it. It turns out that the thing also plays audio cassettes. The games are horrible, which is a real shame, since the tape-playing thing is so cool. It has a regular internal speaker for game audio and only plays the tape audio via the audio-out. There is no year on the thing, but it is a:
SPECTRA 9-in-1 Stereo Cassette Game Player Model No. YEP-275 Call me crazy, but I thought this was kinda cool, especially for the $1.50 I paid for it. Does it come with a bunch of Tetris clones on it or what? Title: Re: Weird Tape-Playing Handheld Post by: Lord Nepenthean on September 23, 2004, 05:42:31 AM There are nine games. One is a Speedway (O2) clone, one is a Tetris clone, one is a Breakout clone, and the others I don't remember offhand. I'll check on that later tonight.
