She entered a radio contest for the messiest closet.  The winner gets a $2,000.00 closet makeover.  She is one of 5 finalists.  She needs this makeover bad, and so do I, since we share a bedroom, all this mess is spilling over to my very neat closet.  Her closet is #1 on the list, please vote for it, and get as many other people to vote for it too!

Well she has 102 votes now, but #3 is catching up. I think they are using different proxies to vote more than once. :P

You can't vote twice from the same computer. When you use a proxy server it looks like you are at a different computer and will let the new person(you) vote. Just do a google search for something like Free proxy servers.

Also those who have highspeed you can send dozens quickly by releasing your IP and getting a new one.

How do you releasing your IP and getting a new one? I couldn't get a new IP address. I'm using a router, do you know how to release and renew and IP for a router?


I tried...
   1. Click the Start menu button on the Windows taskbar.
   2. Click Run... on this menu.
   3. If the computer is holding a current IP address, type 'cmd' (without the quotes) in the text box
       that appears. A command prompt window appears on the screen.
   4. Type 'ipconfig' (without the quotes) to view the status of the computer's IP address(es).
   5. If the computer is holding a current IP address, type 'ipconfig /release' to let go of the address.
   6. Type 'ipconfig /renew' to obtain a new IP address (whether or not the computer is holding a
       current address).

^That won't work for a router, that only updates the local IP.  It will keep the same external IP address.  You will need to log into your router and find a way to refresh your IP address.  However, you will most likely get the same IP address when you refresh your IP address on your router.

All depending on whether your ISP assigns static IPs or dynamic ones.

You do realize this whole situation wouldn't exist if she'd simply go thru her closet and sort everything into more orderly groups.  Also getting rid of any clothing that doesnt fit or she considers too outdated or stuff she didnt like would help out as well.  Also remembering what she wants her closet to be would help out just as much.  After years of being afraid to even enter my closet I've recently gone thru and cleaned both of mine out.  Got rid of around 15-20 shirts, a few jackets, some pants, and shorts.  They all found good homes at local charity thrift shops but now I can not only see floor in my closet, I can also hide in one of them on those days when family get bitchy and I just want a quiet place to avoid them in.

I think she's gonna hold off on the pimping until we buy a house.  It would be a waste spending $2,000.00 on a closet in our apartment that we will be out of in about 11 months.  Btw, we have one dog, a pomeranian, named Keon Willis Orlando Sandifer Klinger, Willie for short!
