There are a lot of games that I still need to buy, but I keep running out of money, or buy an other game instead. On my 'still to play' list, there's Ikaruga, Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark, and many others.

Am I the only one with this problem?

I still haven't picked up MGS or Castlevania: SotN for PS1.  Also, Contra for NES.

Contra is a MUST.   It is one of the first games I went looking for when I started collecting, along with Double Dragon, SMB 3.


And yes I have the same problem.  I have been telling myself to buy the original Donkey Kong for the NES. And still to this day have never done it.

Also LOLO, Clayfighter, Matrix, Command & Conquer, and anything Crash, Jak, or Spyro.


Lemmings should go down as one of the best of all times.  It's still fun to play. Although I have never played the NES version.

i think th list is too long to mention and even when i will think i have got everything i want still more will rear there head and say buy me"!!

I think it's safe to say that many feel the same way. When a deal comes around that's too good to pass up...you just gotta take advantage of it.

For me, the "games to Play" is just too long of a list to mention. When I get games, I definitely make the time to test them out, but I rarely have enough time to play through them. :-\

I've set myself up in such a way that I'll have plenty of backup hardware for over the years as I play these. I've got new games I may not get around to for several years even decades, no biggy, just save them for a rainy day when there's a lull in new releases.  ;)

Think of any major release or amazing game that has come out in the last.... 10 years.

If your list includes Halo, Burnout, Mortal Kombat or Command and Conquer games remove them. Everything else i have to buy/play still.

Embarassingly enough, I have never played Chrono Trigger. (Smite me)

I also need to obtain a copy of Guitar Hero II.

I need to get Metal Gear Solid, Frequency, Tomba (1 and 2), MediEvil (1 and 2), Intelligent Qube, Resident Evil 4, Eternal Darkness, Yoshi's Island (I already have the DS version though), and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

You're not alone, Chrono Trigger is a ridiculously hard game to find at a reasonable price.

You MUST get Guitar Hero II, though. It's a blast!

I own Katamari Damacy, but have never played it :embarassed: In fact, it is still in the shrink wrap. :o

The greatest RPG of all time.  I love the replay factor on the game.  Especially going back through it on the +option with your high level's and weapons intact.I have never beat earthbound but play it whenever I have a bout with my SNES.  A very good RPG and a ton of fun to play. 

I need to look into getting a copy of Breath of Fire II.  I love the first one but haven't gotten ahold of the second.

YOU MUST PLAY IT TONIGHT! That game is pure happy on a PS2 disc.

Intelligent Qube is another fun and rediculously hard to get game.

Every now and then i check ebay for it but they are always 50+ dollars.

Even the mislisted ones :-/

I still dream of stumbling on that game for like $15 in a pawn shop.

Tons of games to play little time to play.

About 50 PS2 RPG's that I own.  I have a massive backlog that I just can't seem to get around to even trying.  Many are even highly acclaimed RPG's like Dark Cloud 1 & 2, Champions of Norrath, Final Fantasy XII, X-Men Legends 1 & 2, Odin Sphere, the list goes on and on.

I need to play the Knights of the Old Republic series as well, I picked up both games but haven't had a chance to play them yet.

YOU MUST PLAY KNIGHTS I! It's one of the best RPGs of all time!

I need to buy and play an Xbox 360 and a list of games.

There's a bunch, but a couple I always say I'm going to get are Dragon Warrior III and Dragon Warrior IV. I've been putting those off for years.

If that doesnt work, 4/5 of the games I've bought the past 3 years.

I've never played any Final Fantasy games apart from FF:CC on Gamecube.  I just can't stand turn based combat.

I owned Persona Psone but never played it, had 2 copies of IQ but back then i was all about profit so they are gone. I need to play Kartia, Vandal Hearts, Trap gunner, Ghost in a SHell and for the ones i do not own, Hoshigami and Legend of Mana for PSone. Also i never played any of the DK's for SNES, R-Type III, Chrono Trigger, Kirby Dreamland 3, Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, Castlevania: Dracula X, Ninja Gaiden trilogy, Legend of the Mystical Ninja and U.N. Squadron. Whats sad is that i use to own a few of these SNES games but never had a system to play them on.

You missed out on about 3-4 generatioins of video game history. Get into that ASAP.

Just got Guitar Hero II today, I'm gonna rip that up later.

My copy of God of War is still collecting dust on the shelf, just waiting for me to play it.
