I rented it and still haven't gotten time to really play it because of schoolwork. Hopefully I can find some time to sit down with it.

This game looks so awesome. Too bad it is on the Wii where no one will play it.

Tony showed me a trailer for it and i thought it was awesome until he told me how to move the controller around. i was sad after that and turned off the trailer.

Bah, a waste of money Halo is. No More Heroes looks like it could be a decent game, it's just a shame it has waggle is all.

I am not saying the game it bad. I said the trailer was lame for talking about the controller. I also said more people would play it if it was a different system. Also teh DS does have some good games. :)

You know how gamers tend to dismiss the INTV because of it's odd controller? Or hate the PlayStation d-pad or gamepad versus mouse/keyboard? I haven't liked the Wii controller since day 1. I don't mind games that use the Wii remote sideways in a sixaxis style, unfortunately there just aren't enough of those for my liking.

Control is everything to a game, it's what joins you on the couch to the fun on the screen. Everyone has a hated controller or controllers they could list, the Wii just happens to be one of mine is all. So I don't dismiss this game as casually as one may think, the basic control style has been around since November 2006, I've had plenty of time to test my dislike of it. :P

A shame too, I enjoyed Killer 7 and I can see similarities.

I went looking for No More Heroes yesterday and everyone was sold out.  That makes me a sad panda.

I thought the conversation was getting a bit too serious, all this talk of age and sales figures. So I thought I'd inject some juvenile humor into it so we'd remember that it is only a silly video game after all.

Perhaps I'm missing the logic. The game wasn't really hyped at all besides by fans. That being said I suppose if it was on Xbox Microsoft would have spent mass money promoting it if that is what you mean. If you are suggesting that mostly little kids play the Wii, head to a college dorm or something.

I highly doubt MS would spend money advertising it because it's a Japanese developed game that's highly stylized and doesn't look like "Master" Chief. :)

I am saying the Wii is for casual gamers and NMH isnt a casual game.

I finally got to play it today. This game is really too awesome for words, for serious. I guess I have another game to add to my birthday list.

Dude, just go fucking buy it. That is an order! Don't wait until it's cheap used, because then you're not supporting the company nor everyone who worked on it, but more importantly you are not supporting more games like it on the Wii. You don't want the Wii to become a wasteland of casual crap do you? If not, VOTE WITH YOUR WALLET AND BUY IT NOW!

i bought this game saturday and just beat it today. i started it on sunday not expecting to put 12 straight hours into it playing well until 9 am. The game easily is one of the best games to hit the wii so far and theres been so real good titles as it is.

On the news the other night it turns out the Wii is a huge hit with the elderly here in Australia.

As for the Wii control, for me it's kinda hit 'n' miss depending on the game. I've always been a pro at button bushing Olympic style games but didn't like the Sonic/Mario Olympics at all, as I feel like I'm putting in a lot more effort that what I'm getting out of it and didn't have any fun with it.
Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 on the other hand was awesome fun! The best multiplayer fun I've had in years.
