Title: Blood Moon (movie) Post by: The Metamorphosing Leon on November 09, 2004, 12:48:12 PM This was a weird movie. It was possibly the most dramatically acted hilarious movie i've ever seen. It also looked horribly expensive.
Gotta go might add more later. Title: Re: Blood Moon (movie) Post by: Lord Nepenthean on November 09, 2004, 04:15:34 PM I looked this up on the IMDB and got no results with an exact title match. Three movies had alternate titles of "Blood Moon" listed. Which one was it that you saw?
Title: Re: Blood Moon (movie) Post by: The Metamorphosing Leon on November 09, 2004, 05:21:26 PM It was called Blood Moon, I got it from the Library and don't have it any more, it had Tim Curry in it. Uhhhh. Pretty new.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0265752/ They have it listed as "Wolf Girl," with an alternate title of "Blood Moon." So, it was one of the ones I was looking at. Indeed, it looks pretty darn bad. I'm pretty surprised the library would get something like that. I know they get some really bad movies, but that's taking it to a new level. (Or is it? The Legend of Bagger Vance was pretty awful and the library had that.) It floors me that instead of getting classic and influential cinema, the library gets all the crap that every Blockbuster has. Why not get silent classics, Criterion DVD's, and rare movies so that the monumental stuff out there can be preserved, rather than just letting people who are too cheap to rent Good Boy! save two bucks? Title: Re: Blood Moon (movie) Post by: Hydrobond on November 10, 2004, 05:57:42 AM Write them a letter. They have a ton of money, so I'm sure they could at least get a few.
And have you looked at the downtown branch, because they would have the older stuff there and not at any of the satellite branches. Title: Re: Blood Moon (movie) Post by: The Metamorphosing Leon on November 10, 2004, 01:37:52 PM I go to the west chester system and they seem to get anything in disc form that's cheap.
But getting twelve movies free for two weeks at a time is cool. |
