Title: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: captain_nintendo on November 19, 2004, 05:15:26 AM OK , I really wouldnt call it hunting. In fact I would rather find something like this in the wild. But I consider this game just as rare as Stadium Events and I am happy to now own it.
I won it on ebay last night for 271 dollars (biggest amount ever spent on 1 game for my collection) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8147216627&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT Call me crazy , but I didnt want to wait to pick this up when there was one in the condition I wanted it for the price I was willing to pay. Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: den68 on November 19, 2004, 06:44:15 AM yikes! that's a hefty sum but congrats I guess.

Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: captain_nintendo on November 19, 2004, 07:38:27 AM Quote LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: Arrrhalomynn on November 19, 2004, 08:54:01 AM That's an awful lot of money for 1 game. Is it a good price or are you crazy?

Not great though ..... Over at digitpress we were predicting this would end right around 275 dollars. I was prepared to pay 300. Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: captain_nintendo on November 19, 2004, 09:22:55 AM And of course I got to take 2 items off my wish list here at rf gen this week :)
The Caltron 6 in 1 and Pro Sports Hockey for NES. The Pro Sports Hockey I had the instructions and box , but needed the game. I just bought one from a dp member :) One less R7 to track down and complete. Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: Izret101 on November 19, 2004, 11:06:42 AM If you have a scanner it would be VERY nice to see scans for that in the database.
Amazing score too. I put some info in about those. I don't remember if the Carlton is the one with the Myrad label over it or vice versa but they are the same other than one has its label over the other. Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: Tynstar on November 19, 2004, 11:45:48 AM I will scan it once Rick get it.

Myriad was the company that bought all the wherehouse stock from Caltron when they went belly up. So Myriad put their stickers on the Caltron. ;) Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: Sauza12 on November 22, 2004, 10:13:34 AM I saw this too. I was gonna try to put a snipe in if it stayed under $100, but as you can see, that didn't happen. Congrats on the win.

Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: Tynstar on January 11, 2005, 05:12:41 PM Capt Nintendo you should Race America for a little game of Bump 'N Jump! That could be your Final Fantasy!
Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: Antimind on January 11, 2005, 05:20:43 PM Yup, that'd be Operation Secret Storm. Ya know, I'm Home Alone so if that's your Pipe Dream I suggest you Rally Bike it over here to Qix it with Barbie. I'd be down for some Stack-Up on a Sunday Funday. If Tag Team Wrestling is your thang that would be Totally Rad. Unless of course you're pimpin The Mutant Virus.
Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: Izret101 on January 11, 2005, 05:23:32 PM Jesus freaking christ....
What the hell hapened..... Please continue this is quite possibly the most amusing thing on the site! Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: captain_nintendo on January 11, 2005, 06:16:08 PM I like to make rash choices. This KID likes to play it KOOL ;) However I have been known to go on a RAMPAGE from time to time. It would be hot if you were into wearing METAL GEAR. Then my SILK WORM would love that HOT SLOT.
I bet you would be pretty happy because I dont look like SWAMP THING and I promise to wear a TROJAN.   Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: Tynstar on January 11, 2005, 06:40:12 PM The year was 1942 or 1943 no one is really sure.
The Wild Gunman had just ridden in on his Galaxy 5000. He was on a mission. Some would say a Mission Impossible. To him it was just one more conquest. A Conquest of the Crystal Palace. In order for the gunman to complete this quest he had to spin the Wheel of Fortune and hope for the best. Luckily the fates where good to him on this Cool World. Next it was the Gauntlet followed by Hogan's Alley. In Hogan's Alley he preformed the Rush ‘N Attack on the Bad Dudes but they here Bad Street Brawlers. Still the move left his Life Force drained. Next was Caesar's Palace ruled by Shingen the Ruler and the Zombie Nation. The Gunman knew he would need help with this so he called in Captain America, the X-Men, Silver Surfer, Mega Man and the Goonies 2 of them. After all the Gun Smoke cleared only a few of the good guys where left. Now finally after all that there was only Mad Max left. The Gunman pulled a Wrath of the Black Manta move on him and all that did was piss Mad Max off. The battle raged on into the night the Rampage left the town of Shadowgate destroyed. The Shockwave of the fight was felt all over the world. Day became night. Night became day. Then on the third night the full moon rose and Mad Max turned into a Werewolf. Finally the Gunman saw a weakness. Silver would be the beast Lethal Weapon. Finally the battle was over and the Crystalis and the Crystal Mines of the Crystal Palace were his. To be continued…… Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: Antimind on January 11, 2005, 08:00:22 PM Whew, good to know you're not part of The Addams Family. I'm waiting with Anticipation for you to show me your Iron Sword. By the time I'm done with you you'd be callin me Knight Rider. I'm into Dudes With Attitude so I Double Dare you to come play Dr. Mario, maybe even get some Elevator Action goin. It would be like Adventures in the Magic Kingdom gettin all up in my Fantasy Zone. If I tried to name your Heavy Barrel I think we'd have a Conflict and then we'd have to play Where's Waldo. It would be The Great Waldo Search and you'd Die Hard. Gotcha! But seriously, if you down with this Alpha Mission I could dress up as Little Red Hood and you could kick it into High Speed so I could be a Mach Rider. Man talk about Days of Thunder! I'm not into the whole Circus Caper cause if you lose a handcuff key you gotta call a Locksmith and that would be a real Cliffhanger. Peek-A-Boo Poker sounds really slick but only with a little role playing. You can be Rocket Ranger and I can be a
Galactic Crusader, that would be the Best of the Best. How bout it Blaster Master, up for some Snake Rattle 'n Roll? Title: Re: Caltron 6 in 1 (complete) Post by: den68 on January 12, 2005, 05:24:43 AM wow, talkin' dirty in NES. bet you guys get LOT'S of action.
