Title: Help me buy 140 CIB NES games
Post by: NES_Rules on August 19, 2008, 02:41:39 PM
I need to raise about $400 (or as close to that as I can) in the next couple weeks, so please help me out and buy some stuff. I'm more than happy to listen to any and all offers. And remember, I love working deals for large orders.

I really need to make room so nearly all my duplicate games and systems are up for sale. You can see them in my For Sale/Trade Folder (http://www.rfgeneration.com/cgi-bin/collection.pl?name=NES_Rules&action=&results=&folder=For+Sale%2FTrade&console=&type=).
Send me a PM with exactly what you want (if you just say a system name then the cables/controllers won't be included) and how much you want to spend. The more you want, the better of a deal I'm willing to make. I am now open to trade offers, I'm specifically looking for Claymates for the SNES (preferably CIB or boxed) but I'm open to anything I don't already own, especially NES and SNES games.

Just thought I'd throw up some prices I've come up with;
NES system with 2 controls, Power Supply, RCA cables or RF Switch (your choice) - $30
SNES system with 2 controls, Power Supply, A/V cord - $40
PS1 system with 2 controls, Power cord, A/V cord - $10
Genesis 1 system with 2 controls, Power Supply, A/V cord - $15
Genesis 2 system with 2 controls, Power Supply, A/V cord - $20
Sega Nomad (cracked protective screen, other wise great condition) - $60 *sold for $40*

Loose Atari games - $1 each.
Loose Genesis games - no more than $3 each.
Any Sports games - $1 each.
Complete Atari games - $10 each

*Payments can be made by PayPal or a money order. I will ship to Canada, but be aware it's expensive. Shipping is always via USPS.

Anyone interested in a Game Gear with Sonic 2 and Ecco the Dolphin for $25 + shipping?
I ask because it's on Craigslist for that much, and I'll only get it if I can keep the couple games I do need and sell the rest to break even.

Adding to the for sale list is a stack of Nintendo Powers. They're from about 2000-2004, I think there's about 30-40 total. Mostly good shape, some have ripped covers from removal of address labels, most are missing the posters however.
I would prefer selling them as one lot, but if you just want/need a few I'm fine with that. I'll try to get a list of what issues there are.
I'm willing to let these go cheap, they're just taking up space I don't have.

That is rather bad condition. :-\

But I guess it's always better to have a box in bad shape than no box at all. :)

And nice avatar and sig, NES_Rules! :D

Now that you mention it, you were kind of fond of those animated GIF's...it wasn't that annoying because you were pretty much the only person doing it but when everybody starts to have those it gets irritating to the eyes because everywhere you look things are flickering.

I actually like those better than your old ones, they're funny too! :)

Seriously, nobody wants any of these systems? My room looks like a warehouse with boxes nearly up to the ceiling, this stuff needs to go.
And remember, prices are always negotiable and free stuff is constant.

Also, is anybody interested in records here? I've got a pile of maybe 30-40 classic rock albums, I'm letting go for around $1 each. PM me if interested.

Seriously, nobody wants any of these systems?
Maybe RFG's audience is just too limited (in terms of # of people) to sell things quickly. :-\

I've got the list on DigitalPress as well, so far I've sold 3 games on there. But I don't offer them the same specials as I do here.

That's great to hear. :D

but if things don't sell fast enough for your taste you can always put them on eBay/GameGavel/... of course.

I probably will put a lot of stuff on GameGavel or ChaseTheChuckwagon, I just don't have the time for that right now.

what model is the PS1 system? (SCPH-????) also, how is the CD spindle on it? (perfect? any pieces chipped off? etc) and does it read CDs well?

Title: Re: NES_Rules' Sale Bin
Post by: NES_Rules on December 05, 2008, 12:12:49 PM
There are two SCPH-5501 and one SCPH-7501.
Both 5501 play discs fine, the 7501 doesn't want to read them though.
All have good spindles with no missing pieces.

I have a bunch of NES games that I'd love to trade you for some of your SNES duplicates.  I'm going on vacation now, but I will be back on Monday.  Send me a message and we'll see what we can work out!

Anyone interested in a TG-16 lot with cords and 3 controllers, a controller cord extension (5 ft), a 5-way controller splitter, and:
Splatterhouse
Keith Courage
Bloody Wolf
J.J. and Jeff
Alien Crush
Dungeon Explorer
Sidearms

It's on Craigslist for $60, but isn't exactly close to me so I'll pick it for anyone who wants to pay $70 plus shipping. I'm not even sure if that's a good deal or not, though.

Splatterhouse alone is worth nearly that much so it's definitely a killer deal. :)

I need to get this stuff moving, so everything in the following picture for $123 shipped anywhere in the US. Included are 119 (42 are unique) games, 3 boxes, and 16 (10 are unique) manuals. That's only $1.03 per game including shipping!!

It will be shipped via USPS Priority with 2 flat rate boxes (it's actually cheaper than 1 big box).

If people don't buy your nes games, try trading them to your local video game store.  Mine let me and they have given me around 75 different atari games.

There are none around here except Gamestop and of course they don't take them. And NES games move slowly, but steadily.

I just thought I would throw it out there that I'm looking for a certain NES game holder. Specifically, it's one made by Dynasound and has "Nintendo" on the front and "Dynasound Orgainizer" with the company address on the back. It holds 21 games, I would like to have enough to fit the entire NES library on, so I'll eventually need 37 of them. So far, I've got 1, only 36 to go.

It looks like this one:

It must be identical to the one pictured, I'm not looking for other ones.

Also, the games in the picture are for sale/trade, so if you see some you want. . .

I thought I would try something a little different to entice some sales, so here it is. For every $50 worth of stuff I sell this week, $10 goes to RFGen server costs. So, this is your chance to get a bargain on some games/systems and help out THE greatest site on the 'net.

I'm stressing the systems because they really need to go, they're taking up way too much room, I might start giving away Genesis systems with every purchase
