Title: PS2 shortage Post by: The Metamorphosing Leon on November 29, 2004, 07:00:50 PM Well, I finally decided to get a PS2. I went to Best Buy and bam...out of stock, Circuit City? out. Blockbuster was out, EB was out. I heard Media Play was out too. I didn't check were places like wal-mart or target but they were probably out too.

If you want a used one your out of luck too. Those have been gone around here for a few months. Don't know what the reasoning is but i hope you were smart enough to ask for when the next shipment came in because if you don't know they might be sold out again before you can get to them. Title: Re: PS2 shortage Post by: Chiko_Ri on December 03, 2004, 10:08:22 PM It's probably right before Xmas, everyone wants to get a new PS2, so that's probably why they were out of stock. :/ A few years back when my brother and I decided to pick up a Dream Cast, this is pretty much the time when DC stopped releasing new games, we couldn't even get a hold of one ANYWHERE. *shake head* People are crazy right before Xmas. All I could say is, good luck locating one. :/ Or try to find one online.

Still think it's a rip-off. My first PS2 died alreaady while my first Saturn still lives, and that while I play much more on my Saturn.

My mom has been to 3 different stores. 2 of which twice looking for the also hard to find Xbox. I made one quick call and the guy told me he could get one before the end of the month for me.
